Service Expansion Goals
Service expansion isn’t everyone’s goals. But if it is one of yours, here’s some simple goals you can set and work out the details with your AP of how to reach. Goal 1: Add a new treatment to the service offerings (or use these steps to better highlight an existing treatment)
- Research and choose treatment of focus
- Determine the cost of the treatment and the price point to offer it to clients
- Train staff on how to perform the treatment; if you don’t have any staff yet, write out the steps in DETAIL of how to perform treatment (this will help you with training later when you do have a staff)
- Create marketing materials to promote the new treatment (use FIVERR or CANVA)
- Offer a discount or promotion to encourage clients to try the treatment
Goal 2: Developing a package deal for services
- Choose services to include in the package
- Determine the cost of the package and the price point to offer it to clients
- Write package description
- Create marketing materials to promote the package deal
- Train staff on how to effectively sell the package deal to clients (or write down HOW to sell it)
- Evaluate the success of the package deal and adjust as needed
Goal 3: Adding new products to sell in the MedSpa
- Research and choose products to add to the inventory
- Determine the cost of the products and the price point to offer them to clients
- Create marketing materials to promote the new products
- Train staff on how to effectively sell the new products to clients (or write down HOW to sell it)
- Evaluate the success of the new products and adjust as needed
Goal 4: Offering a loyalty program to encourage repeat business
- Develop a program structure that rewards clients for repeat business
- Determine the benefits clients will receive for participating in the program
- Create marketing materials to promote the loyalty program
- Train staff on how to enroll clients in the loyalty program and explain the benefits (or write down HOW to enroll someone)
- Evaluate the success of the loyalty program and adjust as needed
Goal 5: Hosting special events or promotions to increase business (after hours VIP events work well)
- Choose an event or promotion to offer (e.g. open house, holiday special)
- Determine the cost of the event or promotion and the price point to offer it to clients
- Write out steps for launching the promo
- Check ROI and ensure that you will be making a profit OR generating enough leads to capitalize off of later
