This course is specifically designed to teach you the lymphatic system as it applies to trauma clients. You will gain skills and techniques required to perform lymphatic massage on patients THE FIRST WEEK OF THEIR SURGERY who have undergone plastic surgery, including liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentation or reduction, and other procedures. MLD techniques do not translate nor help clients past this point, and can actually be harmful.

Our course will cover the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system, as well as the indications and contraindications for performing lymphatic massage on post-plastic surgery patients. You will learn how to evaluate the patient’s condition and apply basic MLD techniques to meet their individual needs. We will teach you the proper hand movements and pressure points to achieve optimal results Day 1-7 Post surgical results. You will be able to confidently communicate body presentation with patients, understand their concerns, and provide guidance.

These techniques DO translate well into helping clients with non-surgical body contouring treatments. Upon completion of our lymphatic massage course for post-plastic surgery, healthcare professionals will be able to integrate this technique into their practice, providing valuable care to their patients while also increasing their skills and knowledge. Join us and make a difference in the lives of clients in the Body Altering Aesthetics space.

  • This course is a prerequisite to all TOSI Phase 1 Didactic Lectures
